HYDERABAD: The Chief Minister Mr N Kiran Kumar Reddy today
assured the President of the A.P.Poultry Federation, D Sudhakar, President of
A.P. Breeders Association and MD, Sneha Poultry Group, Mr Rami Reddy and others
that the State Government will extend all possible help, support and incentives
to the Poultry sector in the State.
A delegation of the Poultry sector led by Mr Sudhakar and
Mr Rami Reddy called on the Chief Minister at the Camp Office and sought
incentives and assistance to the poultry sector. The Chief Minister said that
many incentives are being extended by the 12th Finance Commission to the
agriculture and allied sectors including the poultry sector and the State
Government would be glad to extend the same to the poultry sector.
The Chief Minister also said that power cuts to the
industries including poultry sector will be reduced to the maximum extent
possible and all steps are being taken in this regard.
The Chief Minister also agreed to positively consider
other demands of the Federation like early permission for construction of
poultry sheds/units in the villages and give priority for sanctioning the same,
treating poultry loans on par with agriculture and exempting poultry land from
the purview of conversion of agricultural land to non-agriculture.
