programmes implemented by the State Government to make it happen transparently
and seamlessly without any hassles & harassment.
The basic objective of Mee Seva Project is to ensure that
the Citizens do not have to go round the Government offices for a variety of
services and instead of it the services come nearer to them through the Mee
Seva Centres. Mee Seva aims to add efficiency, convenience and transparency in
delivery of Government Services.
Mee Seva will start with 12 services relating to Revenue
and Registration Departments. The number of services is expected to be raised
to over 50, covering most of the departments that have citizen interface. The
State Government have simplified the procedure to deliver your certificates,
such as Adangal/ROR-1B, Residence Certificate, Income Certificate, Registration
Certificate etc without any hassles and in a secured manner.
The State Government have promulgated a new set of rules
for delivering citizen services electronically. According to these rules, by
April 2012, all Government Departments are required to publish their DEADLINE
for delivering citizen services electronically.
The uniqueness of Mee Seva is that it is now possible to
deliver statutory certificates over private kiosks. This is made possible
through the use of Digital Signatures and printing on security paper. It is
the first time in India that such an innovative use of technology is being made
to help the common man - farmers and students to begin with through Mee Seva.
The authenticity and genuineness of the Certificates issued through Mee Seva
can be verified electronically at any point of time by anybody.
