Chief Minister K. Rosaiah inaugurating the Global Peace Auditorium in Hyderabad
on Sunday.
HYDERABAD: Chief Minister K. Rosaiah has said the movement
of Brahmakumaris is a service to humanity that has been preaching right thinking
and peace of mind as part of its endeavour to create a better world. The path of
living being propagated by the movement will relieve any person of his or her
worldly despair and help experience eternal peace.
Speaking after inaugurating the global peace auditorium of
Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya at their Shanti Sarovar
campus in Gachibowli here on Sunday he wished the centre to be a significant
destination for peace not only for Hyderabad but for entire Andhra Pradesh.
Stating that politicians would undergo mental stress,
physical strain and psychological turmoil day in and day out he felt they could
learn to attain peace of mind by visiting such places by taking some time off.
Brahmakumaris institution having 8,500 branches in 130
countries across the world was a fast growing movement. Its service activities
with 20 wings had earned it affiliation of the UNO, UNICEF and UNESCO, Mr.
Rosaiah said.
Judge of Andhra Pradesh High Court V. Eswaraiah said both
rulers and the ruled were a spoiled lot now and required to be reformed through
a path of living like that of Brahma Kumaris.
Additional administrative head of Brahmakumaris Global
Centres, Mount Abu, Dadi Hridaya Mohini said the global peace auditorium here
was their best facility outside Mount Abu. The newly constructed air-conditioned
auditorium has 2,100 seating capacity, simultaneous translation facility into
eight languages, multi-efficacy dais and others.
Apart from Justice Eswaraiah, ten other judges of the High
Court , Mayor of GHMC B. Karthika Reddy, Minister for Major Irrigation Ponnala
Lakshmaiah, Lagadapati Rajagopal,MP, D. Rama Naidu, film maker, Ummareddy
Venkateswarlu, TDP leader and others participated.
