"Ganesh Nimajjanam is scheduled to take place on 22nd
September.High Court judgement on Ramjanmabhoomi and Babri Masjid issue is
expected on 24th September. Our State and the Twin-cities are known for
communal harmony, peace and friendship. It is necessary for all sections of
people of the State to maintain equanimity and tranquility during this period.
There should be no attempts to provoke any sections of people or express views
that may hurt feelings of other persons. The delivery of the judgement is a
pat of long judicial process. It should be viewed with respect and there is
also scope for further legal process if it felt necessary by anybody.
Therefore, all concerned should maintain peace and harmony after the delivery
of the judgement and ensure that the best traditions of our culture are
maintained.
We appeal to people, political parties, religious
organisations & leaders and media to extend full cooperation to ensure peace
and public order. We should all concentrate on our objectives of peace and
progress".
