‘Those belonging to Telangana region not deprived of their due promotion'

Chief Minister K. Rosaiah on Sunday said there was no discrimination in the
Police Department and those belonging to Telangana region were not deprived of
their due promotion.
The Chief Minister spoke to the media while he was here to
attend the marriage of Warangal MLA B. Saraiah's daughter Anitha.
Mr. Rosaiah expressed happiness over the law and order
situation in the district and said since it was a growing place, the State
government had set up an urban police office with a new set up. He later
unveiled a plaque marking the inaugural of the urban police office.
The Chief Minister also appreciated the efforts being made
by the irrigation officials and pace of work on the pending projects. He said
the region received good rainfall and urged the officials to make optimum
utilisation of water.
Later, Mr. Rosaiah was felicitated by the District Arya
Vysa Sangham.
